What Will Vision Do?
We found
this saying in a Chinese fortune cookie. What you mold in your heart you can
hold in your hands! Zig Ziglar a well known
Christian motivational speaker expresses it this way. Your attitudes will
determine your altitude.
Proverbs 23:7a (KJV)
7For as he thinks in his heart, so is he:
The disciples stated they could not help but testify to what they saw and
heard. What they saw and heard enabled them to bring healing to a cripple. Jesus
tells us to listen to how we see and hear. Our minds are like a movie studio.
Every image is recorded and capable of producing a reaction. When a movie is
made there is a lot of raw footage that is scrapped because it does not enhance
the movie or produce the desired reaction. The Lord give us tools to change our
minds and edit our movies.
Gen 11:6 (KJV) And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Imagination has the power to free us from all restraints. Communication of image or vision brings the equipment to carry it out. As we hear Gods' voice and obey his words we receive the power to walk in the miraculous.
Romans 12:2 (KJV) 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Our minds are like a canvas. The artist is our imagination. The tools are our
senses. Our response creates the doors to our destiny. We are full of power. We
can bring life to our destiny by the words that we speak.
Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
21Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love
it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Your words will position you in life. What you speak is based on thoughts you
choose to dwell on in your heart. Many thoughts and visions will present them
selves in your lifetime. They become full of power as you meditate, speak, and
act on them.
Matthew 12:35-37 (KJV)
35A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37For by
thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Vision
enhances imagination. Imagination initiates response, words provoke actions.
Actions create habits. Habits are hard to break down. You form good habits by
renewing your minds with Gods’ principles. You enforce these habits by the
words you speak. You enhance them by acting on them. Good habits will create
strength and produce in you stability and power.
Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. He is on your side! Jesus is Alive and He loves you!
2 Cor 4:13 (KJV) We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore ave I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
The Bible tell us that out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. There is life and death in the power of your tongue. Choose life by filling your heart with what God says. What is in your heart will come out of your mouth. We are told to guard our hearts with all diligence because the issues of life proceed from it. Gods' words are his gift to us. They will save your life and determine your destiny. Miracles are in your mouth!
(Acts 4:20 KJV) For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
The things we see and hear are
imposed on our minds. We are most influenced by what we give our attention to.
The more time we give to something the more of our mind and imagination it uses.
This is one reason the Bible urges us to be anxious for nothing and to
keep free from strife. When the disciples remembered and acted on what Jesus
showed them they exercised the power to walk in the supernatural. When
their minds got stuck on circumstances, they were diminushed in influence. One
example of this is Peter, when he looked at Jesus, he walked on water, when his
imagination focused on the waves, he started to sink. It is important to notice
that when Peter started to sink Jesus never left him. Jesus took his hand. Jesus
offers His hand to us always! He will never leave us or forsake us! God is on
your side!
( Rom 8:11 KJV) The same spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead shall quicken and make alive your mortal body!
You have the power to walk in the supernatural. You will see signs and wonders follow you as you follow him
(Prov 29:18 KJV) Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Another version of the scripture says when there is no revelation people cast off restraints and become lawless. Vision identifies what surrounds us. Vision allows us to identify structure and utilize it. Vision is created by what is in our heart. This is the foundation.

Proverbs 4:20 through Proverbs 4:22 (KJV) My son,
attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from
thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those
that find them, and health to all their flesh.
We can choose to give Gods’ words
first place in our lives. Don’t let His words out of your sight. The
definition of attends means to wait on attentively like an expert servant.
Incline the ear is to change your slant or position to hear accurately. Keep his
words in your heart diligently guarding them from anything that threatens to
decrease them.
(2 Cor 5:7 KJV) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
This verse used to puzzle me. I wondered how you could walk and not see! Sight is necessary as a tool but it does not have to rule us. We will rule in life when we are directed by faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith without corresponding action is dead being alone. We exercise our faith by acting on it. Every one is given a measure of faith. Practice brings increase!
(2 Cor 4:16 KJV) For which cause we faint not; but
though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. (2 Cor
4:17 KJV) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a
far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
Affliction in the course of fulfilling your vision does not have the power to defeat you. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. The Bible says this is the victory that overcomes the world even your faith. According to this verse affliction works for us! It is our employee! Give it some direction. Speak Gods’ words’ of spirit and life to your affliction! Refuse to let it monopolize your future God is on you side!
(2 Cor 4:18 KJV) While we look not at the things, which
are seen, but at the things, which are not seen: for the things, which are, seen
are temporal; but the things, which are not seen, are eternal.
Keep your image or imagination on what God says about it. Find scripture that promotes your vision. Memorize it and make it personal. Refuse to be sidetracked by circumstance.
(Hab 2:2 KJV) And the LORD answered me, and said, Write
the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
(Hab 2:4 KJV) Behold, his soul, which is lifted up, is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
(Rom 4:17 KJV) (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
When God changed Abrams name to Abraham He was calling into existence what he expected. Abraham means Father of many nations. Abraham and Sarah called themselves what God said they were. Thier circumstances were telling another story but they chose to direct thier ears and eyes to what God promised instead of what man said!
(Rom 4:18 KJV) Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
(Rom 4:19 KJV) And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:
God will equip you to every good work! He will give you all things that pertain to life and Godliness. He will perfect all things that concern you. He says " If you ask anything in my name, I will do it!" God says " He will give grace and glory , no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
(Rom 4:20 KJV) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
He did not let the voice of past experience become louder than the voice of God! He spoke what God said instead of what man thought. His faith was not in his own power or method of believing. His faith was in the word of God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Our faith is our conversation speaking. There is life and death in the power of the tongue. Gods' words are spirit and life! Not one of His promises have ever fallen to the ground unanswered! He says "I will hasten my word to perform it!"
(Rom 4:21 KJV) And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
The Bible says "Without faith it is impossible to please Him, We must believe that He is and that He is a rewards them that diligently seek Him" He delights in the prosperity of His servants. The bible says all His promises are yes and amen! There is nothing too hard for God!
Abraham and Sarah obeyed God. Obedience to the words' of God produce results. Faith without corresponding actions is dead being alone. Faith needs works to sustain it .Results increase confidence. The bible says that the obedient will eat the good of the land!
(Gen 13:15 KJV) For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. (Gen 13:16 KJV) And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. (Gen 13:17 KJV) Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.
God called Abraham to see it! God called Abraham to say It! God called Him to seize it! What you can mold in your heart you can hold in your hands! What you see and hear will affect your heart. What you practice you will perform. Where your treasure is there will your heart be also. What you invest in becomes part of you. You will never possess by observation alone. Even the Bible says The kingdom of God comes not by observation. Go forward and just do it! Never give up God is for you!
(2 Cor 4:14 KJV) Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
(2 Cor 4:15 KJV) For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
