2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The promises that have been given to us are exceeding and great.Healing is promised to you!

Psalms 103:1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Matthew 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Replace your name as the name of an individual you are praying for in the places these scriptures say thy, my, ye, them or we; and watch these words come to life and bring health.

God is faithful to perform His words. God sent His son Jesus Christ to enable you to overcome darkness and be victorious in life. The Holy Spirit is with you to reveal God’s nature, and give you direction and comfort.

The Lord reassures us His words and promises are steadfast and true. These scriptures share the strength of His words.

Jeremiah 1:12 Then said the Lord unto me, thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

The Lord provides many ways for us to be healed and bring healing to others.

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Acts 3:16And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea the faith which is by Him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing, verily, verily, I say unto you, what soever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it you.

John 14: 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Proverbs 16:23 Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones.

It is very good to give the Lord’s words a place in our lives, by reading our Bibles and listening to the Scriptures on tape. Sharing what we have heard with others helps us to remember, and puts in motion that Scriptural principle: give and it shall be given unto you. It is important to consistently attend church services where healing and the whole gospel are taught. The majority of people in the New Testament were healed in groups which gathered together to hear the words of Jesus. When we come together to hear the Word of God, understanding and a new way of seeing things comes.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Psalm 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the Apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people: (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch).

Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

Romans 8:1 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Psalms 41:1 To the chief Musician, A Psa lm of David. Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mark 15:20 And He said unto them, go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned and these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God and they went forth and preached everywhere the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following amen.

Luke 4:40 Now when the sun was setting all they that had any sick with diverse diseases brought them unto Him: and He laid His hands on every on of them and healed them.

The Lord has provided us with "healing" hands. Your hands, used as a vessel by the Lord, can bring healing comfort and love to others. Your hands, God’s words and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, are a powerful combination.

Prayer is communication with God. Remember when you talk to God, it is important to listen, and hear how he wants you to deal with the situations brought before Him. In Christ are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge found. Obey implicitly His voice and direction. The Lord knows how to meet every need!

Jesus Christ was successful because He only did what he saw His Father doing, and He also did only those things which pleased His Father.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, the son can do nothing of himself; but what he seeth the father do: for what things soever he doeth these also doeth the son likewise.

John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, "My doctrine is not mine but His that sent me".

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John 16:13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak and He shall show you things to come.

Psalm 68:13 Bless be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.

Acts 10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly;41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray believe that ye will receive them and ye shall have them.

People can also be healed by contact with something that has been exposed to the anointing of God.

Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Acts 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Matthew 14:15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

11 Kings 13:21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood up on his feet.

Healing and forgiveness are partners. Notice how they are used together in the following passages of scripture.

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Isaiah 33:24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

Matthew 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.7 And he arose, and departed to his house.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

Faith brings healing in every area of life. Jesus Christ constantly referred to people’s faith bringing them what they had need of. We can thank God that faith is a gift we can receive from Him. We need to operate in faith to please God.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Colossians 2:12 Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised Him from the dead.

6 "for in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love."

20 "but ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost keep yourselves in the love of God looking for mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

3 "we are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward the other aboundeth."

13 "we having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed and therefore have I spoken; we also believe and therefore speak (your conversation is your faith speaking!)"

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

12 "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life whereunto thou are also called and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."

Feed your faith and it will destroy your fears and replace your doubts. Remember God is for you! Faith is your gift from God to receive and cherish. Faith is like a telephone for heavenly connections, and the line of God’s grace is always available, because Jesus Christ has already made the way.What is written here is only a portion of what is available to every believer in the way of healing. Search the Bible and you will see how interested the Lord is in your health. Remember that Jesus Christ is alive and he cares for you.
