 Genesis 2:18,25

God started the home and brought Adam a wife. Adam named her Eve, which means the Mother of all living. Adam spoke this in prophecy before a child had ever been born. 

Genesis 1:26,28 

Adam and Eve were to subdue the earth together. They were given dominion over every living thing. God placed them together to dress and to guard the garden. Eve was to be a helpmate for Adam. They were created to work together, and to fellowship with God. Man was the name given to people, both men and women. They were both created in the image of God, and God spoke to them together when He told them what He expected from them. God equipped them for the work He had planned for them. 

John 15:16 Philippians 1:6 

Who God calls, God also always equips. God works the same way today. He is calling men and women together to take dominion over this world. 

Isaiah 6:3 

His will is that the whole earth would be filled with the Glory of the Lord. It is important that we learn to communicate with our mate about what God is saying to us so that we can work together as a unit. 

Amos 3:3 asks us: Can two walk together except that they be agreed? 

Ecclesiastes 4:9 Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor. 

For if they fall the one will lift up his fellow, but woe to him that is alone when he falls; for he has not another to help him up. Again, if two lay together then they have heat, but how can one be warm alone. And if one prevails against him, two will withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
